Understanding Trauma and Resilience: Through an
Educators Lens
This 4-hour workshop for teachers and administrators is to explore Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the impact they can have on all program participants. During this workshop, we will examine what ACEs are and how the effects can show up in children and adults. Workshop participants will explore strategies for decreasing stress and helping children overcome feelings from ACE’s effects. Together, participants will also discuss their responsibility in preventing ACEs in the program and community.
This workshop is broken into two 2-hour sessions. You must attend both sessions to receive Ohio-approved credit.
