Kindergarten transition: What preschool teachers and families can do?

This five hour SUTQ Ohio approved course will recommend strategies that are developmentally appropriate for transitioning students.  Participants will learn about assessments that would be shared with parents of students going on to kindergarten for a successful progression for kindergarten.  Finally, items needed for the move to kindergarten will be discussed.  Cincinnati Public kindergarten teachers will be available to answer any and all questions participants have regarding the process. This is a FREE private course meant for teachers of students in the Cincinnati Public Schools.  Given in conjunction with the Preschool Workforce Development Council and Cincinnati Preschool Promise.
