TOGETHER, WE CAN MAKE EQUITABLE, HIGH-QUALITY PRESCHOOLS A REALITY
As a preschool provider, you are an integral part to making our vision a reality—and we appreciate your hard work and commitment to our next generation. Whether you need support making your preschool more accessible or improving the quality of education you provide, our resources can help you reach your goals, putting more children on the path to success.
OUR PROGRAMS & SERVICES FOR PROVIDERS
Through our non-profit, there are two types of programs for preschool providers:
High-quality preschool providers that have received a 3-, 4- or 5-Star rating from Ohio’s Step Up to Quality system may participate in our Tuition Assistance program.
The Tuition Assistance program enables us to extend access beyond financial support from other federal, state, local, and private funding sources. That’s because sometimes those funding sources just aren’t enough. As the “last dollar in,” our Tuition Assistance program helps close the funding gap with supplemental or full financial support for families who, without our last dollar in, would not be able to send their children to preschool.
Our Tuition Assistance program also helps Community Providers maintain or increase their high-quality ratings, maximize access to high-quality preschool, and fill their classrooms to fulfill their business potential. CPP’s Year 4 Evaluation Report and wage studies show that providers designated as high-quality and participating in Tuition Assistance are better able to provide higher wages, benefits, and more for the early childhood educators they employ.
Eligible Preschool Providers
Community Providers, eligible to participate in the CPP Tuition Assistance program are Family Child Care, single, and multi-center sites, and Parochial Schools, within the CPS district. Each Provider must have achieved a quality rating of 3, 4, or 5-star in Ohio’s Step Up to Quality (SUTQ) system. These Providers are designated by CPP as “high-quality.” But there’s more to the story. As members of the CPP network and an essential part of delivering quality early childhood education, Tuition Assistance Providers commit to:
- Comply with CPP’s Equity Policy
- Adopt a spirit of transparency in reporting outcomes and data-sharing
- Participate in an annual external evaluation
- Attend provider briefings
- Adhere to all CPP policies and procedures beyond the already stringent requirements of licensure and the SUTQ system
STEP UP TO QUALITY
Unrated, 1- or 2-star-rated preschools may participate in our Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) program, which provides tangible support and coaching to improve quality, joining our growing network of approved providers.
When you achieve a high-quality rating, you become eligible to enroll Cincinnati Preschool Promise students and accept tuition funding.
We are forever grateful for Cincinnati Preschool Promise! Your passion and unending determination has allowed us to achieve a 5-star rating and provide the highest level of quality care. We couldn’t have done this without you!
