As a preschool provider, you are an integral part of making the Cincinnati Preschool Promise a reality. Whether you are a community-based center or home-based provider, we appreciate your hard work and commitment to our youngest learners.

We support community-based preschool providers within the Cincinnati Public School District boundaries. Through our work, there are two kinds of preschool providers: Tuition Assistance and Quality Improvement.

For unrated, 1- or 2- Star-Rated Preschools

Through the Cincinnati Preschool Promise, you can receive tangible support and coaching to achieve a 3+ star rating through Step Up to Quality

Step Up to Quality is a five-star quality rating and improvement system administered by the Ohio Department of Education made to recognize and promote programs that meet quality standards exceeding basic licensing requirements. The program standards are based on national research identifying program components and practices that lead to improved outcomes for children, and are organized into four domains:

  • Learning and Development
  • Administrative and Leadership Practices
  • Staff Qualifications and Professional Development
  • Family and Community Partnerships

If you would like to become a Quality Improvement Provider and gain tangible support as you improve your offering, please fill out the form below.

With your quality rating, eligible Tuition Assistance families will be able to enroll at your preschool.
