TAKE THE FIRST STEP TO EDUCATION

The Cincinnati Preschool Promise strives to provide our youngest learners with a strong start to school and life. Families can apply for support or tuition assistance to use at any of over 100 Cincinnati Preschool Promise-approved providers. Through our partnership with Cincinnati Public Schools, you have the opportunity to choose a community-based or public preschool that best fits your child’s needs.

Are you familiar with the Kindergarten Readiness Assessment (KRA)? The KRA is a tool to measure the school readiness of incoming kindergartners by examining literacy, mathematics, motor development, and social foundations. Preschoolers who received CPP Tuition Assistance performed better on the KRA than their peers who did not receive CPP Tuition Assistance. On the overall KRA and language and literacy subtest, 78.4% of CPP TA participants scored either within the “approaching” or “demonstrating” performance level, as opposed to 69.8% of the comparison group – an 8.6 point difference.

The Cincinnati Preschool Promise Team is happy to answer any questions you may have. Call 513-447-4277 (4CPP) or email us at info@cincy-promise.org.
