It is our greatest honor to provide preschool tuition assistance to the families who need it the most, ensuring nothing stands in the way of every child’s right to growth and development through learning.
We empower families to explore a sprawling network of over 140+ high-quality pre-school sites throughout the local community, from home-based preschools to centers and faith-based education facilities.
How Does Preschool Tuition Assistance Work?
Any family may apply for financial support to cover preschool tuition costs, which is highly flexible and works with both Publicly Funded Child Care as well as Head Start. All contributions are paid directly to the Cincinnati Preschool Promise-approved Provider, and the assistance we provide does not sacrifice any other support you are currently receiving. Instead, we can bridge any gaps that you continue to grapple with.
Do I Qualify for Financial Assistance?
Families applying for tuition support must meet the following criteria:

The Tuition Assistance Application must be properly and carefully completed. You can find the Application Here.

The child must be 3 or 4 years of age by September 30th.

The family must reside within the Cincinnati Public School District Boundaries.

The family must meet the specific income guidelines outlined in the application.
How Do I Apply?
- Navigate to the CPP Search Tool and enter your area’s ZIP code.
- From there, you’ll be shown all the preschools in your area that form part of the CPP-Approved Network. We constantly audit and update this dynamic database to ensure only the highest-quality pre-schools make the cut, like those with a Silver or Gold Medal on the “Ohio Step Up to Quality” rating system.
- Can’t find your preferred pre-school on the map? Contact them directly and suggest that they contact Cincinnati Preschool Promise to enquire about joining our prestigious network of high-quality early childhood education providers!
